AIM: The main aim of the project is to design a system for recording the maximum and minimum temperature recorder. Purpose : The main purpose of the project is to design a system for recording the maximum and minimum temperature recorder for industrial and defence applications. Description: Now a day's every system is automated in order to face new challenges. In the present days Automated systems have less manual operations, flexibility, reliability and accurate. Due to this demand every field prefers automated control systems. Especially in the field of electronics, automated systems with great accuracy are in demand with good performance. Here is a project which automatically records minimum and maximum temperature of the day. The aim of the project ’Real Time Maximum and Minimum temperature recorder’ is to record the maximum and minimum temperature being sensed in a day. This is done by getting the details such as date, time from a device called RTC (Real Time Clock). This project is designed around a microcontroller which forms the control unit of the project. According to this project an electronic Automation system can be made which senses the temperature with the help of a temperature sensor and the sensed analog signal is converted into its digital equivalent by an ADC (Analog to Digital converter). The same is saved for further reference in EEPROM as a back end database. The minimum and maximum temperatures are displayed in LCD whenever required. This project can be helpful for the weather forecasting stations and the television channels to record the timings of the particular incidents. The hardware involved in the project is Power supply, Microcontroller, EEPROM, ADC, LCD and a temperature sensor.
