AIM: The main aim of this project is to Design a touch pad using logic gates. PURPOSE: The purpose of this project is to design a touch pad through which we can control the appliances. BLOCK DIAGRAM: POWER SUPPLY: DESCRPTION: As we know the transfer of data from one place to other has become a part and parcel of life. In this process of data transfer keypad places an important role. As the old keypad have many disadvantages like application of pressure on the keys and its mechanical ruggedness and so on. As we know there have been many other keypads that have come in to existence later out of which the latest keypad is a touchpad. Touchpad is one which can be used to control the devices by just touching a switch. The main goal of this project is to control this devices using touchpad. By just touching keys on the touch pad we are going to control the devices with the help of logic IC’s. As a part of this project we are designing the touch pad with the help of the Logic gates. These are going to respond on the resistance of the human body. By using these switches we may extend this project to any application like appliance control, password protected devices etc. HARDWARE COMPONENTS: • Micro controller • Touch pad • Logic Gate Circuitry • Appliances • Power supply SOFTWARE TOOLS: • Keil u-vision • Embedded C • Express PCB APPLICATIONS: • Banking Applications • Mobile Applications RESULT: By using this project we can design a touch pad system through which we can control the appliances
