DIRECTION CONTROL OF STEPPER MOTOR USING WIRELESS RF

AIM: The main aim of the project is to change the direction of the stepper motor with remote. PURPOSE: The purpose of this project is to operate the stepper motor using wireless communication (rf). METHODOLOGY: BLOCK DIAGRAM: Receiver section: Remote section: POWER SUPPLY: DESCRIPTION: A stepper motor is an electromechanical device, which converts electrical pulse into discrete mechanical movement. The shaft or spindle of stepper motor in discrete step increments when electrical command pulse is applied to it in the proper sequence. The motor rotation has several direct relationships to these applied input pulses. The sequence of the applied pulses is directly related to the direction of motor shaft rotation. The speed of the motor shafts relation is directly related to the frequency of input pulses and the length of rotation is directly related to the number of input pulse. In this project we are controlling the directions of the stepper motor using RF communication. Here we transmit the signal from the remote to the motor section by encoding the signal through some encoder and retrieving the original signal at the receiver by using the RF decoder. And from that onwards the controlling of the stepper motor is by microcontroller what we are using. This project can be helpful for designing the robots with the concept of controlling.
