INTRODUCTION

          Security systems are necessary during any emergencies that occur at banks, houses etc. Hence in this project, a security system with a feature of motion and password detection is implemented.

          Using GSM the administrator will be informed about the people moving into the secured places, by sending an SMS to his mobile. At his work place, he can take a required action, which saves time during emergencies.

 

DESRIPTION

           The Project module will be placed at the entrance of the main door. The PIR sensor is used to detect the human motion. If any one comes near the door sensor detects and informs the controller & ask to punch his Id card. For the demo purpose we are using RFID reader & RFID TAG. For the known persons ID card will be given each card is having different ID numbers. When the ID card is punched across the RFID controller will check that particular ID number among the saved data base if it is matched then it will send one random password to his mobile number, he has to enter that particular password using keys. If the password is correct means it will open the door.

This project can also be implemented in Banks & ATM’s. Where predefined time will be considered for each person as per his work. If he stays in that room more than the allotted time, then a message will be sent to the administrator and buzzer beeps. If the person wants to extend his time then, he needs to request to administrator so that his time will be extended. After finishing his work he has to press the exit switch to open the door.

 

8051 architecture based P89V51RD2 microcontroller from NxP is used to implement this project. Microcontroller acts as the heart of the project, which controls the whole system. It contains 1k RAM, 64k Flash, 3 Timers, 2 external interrupts, 1 UART, 32 GPIO’s, ISP programming support etc. KEIL IDE is used to program the microcontroller and the coding will be done using Embedded C.
