FIRST BIOMETRIC HACKING SYSTEM FOR FINGER PRINT IDENTIFICATION BASED ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

 

 

INTRODUCTION

 

          Recently remarkable increase in use of security devices and access control

systems are seen. Security systems are found at various places from cars to house, factories, companies, military installations etc. Out of all these systems biometric is considered to be most advance, secured and most difficult to bypass. Our project demonstrates the loop holes in biometric security system and we will demonstrate hacking in finger print identification based access control system.

 

BLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION

Finger print scanner is connected to PC to store the data and PC is connected to controller board using serial communication. One ALCD is connected to controller board to display the data. DTMF Decoder and Encoder is connected to the controller board to enter the password .Relay and Buzzer also connected if finger print match then relay is on otherwise relay is off at the same time buzzer will beep.

 

 

 

 

DESCRIPTION

This project consist of keypad or PC to enroll new users using dot net, it consist of LCD to display & also it has Finger print identification module and its drivers to interface to it and use it for authentication. It also has an access control relay to open and close door. We will first give demo on security provided by this access control system. In this project to enter the password we are connected DTMF encoder and Decoder and the password length is to be 4digit only. If the finger print is matched means using dot net system will check that finger print which is saved in the data base & send that person name to the controller and ask for the person to enter the password. If the password is matched means relay will be switched ON. Buzzer is also used to get beep sound when the finger print and password is matched.

 This project has one more feature which will breach the security of this biometric system. If this hacking enter key is pressed means it will enter one hidden menu & for the demo purpose we have given one password if any hackers enters this password means finger print identification module will not identify the finger prints properly. It will give access to all finger prints.

 

8051 architecture based P89V51RD2 microcontroller from NxP is used to implement this project. Microcontroller acts as the heart of the project, which controls the whole system. It contains 1k RAM, 64k Flash, 3 Timers, 2 external interrupts, 1 UART, 32 GPIO’s, ISP programming support etc. KEIL IDE is used to program the microcontroller and the coding will be done using Embedded C.
