Social Cloud System

Abstract:

 

In this project, it describes our design and prototype implementation of a social healthcare network over the cloud. The system is secured with a trust-aware role-based access control. Our work addresses an unmet need in social healthcare networking – emotional support, and demonstrates social healthcare network application in a real cloud-computing environment .The cloud is a large group of interconnected computers that provides on-demand, self-service, broad network access, resource pooling, rapid elasticity, and measured service

Existing System:

            In existing system conventional computing environment technique used to store and maintaining the database. By using this technique the user cannot access the data at anywhere at any time.This technique is more expensive and less efficient.

Proposed System:

In proposed system the technique used to store and maintain the database using a cloud-assisted social healthcare network and access control technique to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of users

The key advantage of cloud computing solutions is they are less expensive than their software counterparts. Cloud computing pricing is based on pay-per-use, so users pay only for what they use.

 One more benefit is users are able to access their data and applications through the web from anywhere and at any time.

MODULE DESCRIPTION:

Emergency Medical System (EMS):

EMS is an emergency medical system that accesses personal health records of patients    and helps provide timely care. EMS uses a private cloud to store data. In particular, PHR data is stored on multiple data centers on the cloud.  It helps facilitate a timely access of relevant information by authorized people in case of emergencies. The user interface allows patients to access  their own medical history data and authorized healthcare professionals to access appropriate parts of the data.

 

 

 

Health Cloud Exchange (HCE):

HCX is a distributed web interactive system that provides a private cloud-based data sharing service allowing dynamic discovery of various health records and related healthcare services. In particular, HCX allows sharing health records between different Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. It automatically adapts to changes in the cloud.

 

Health ATM kiosks:

Health ATM kiosks are developed for patients to manage their own personal health data. It integrates services from Google’s cloud computing environment. It provides timely access to relevant health data to patients and strengthens patients’ communication with their care providers. Individuals can review personal account information and perform transactions to manage their care online. This functionality is particularly helpful for patients with chronic conditions who need to monitor their health on a daily basis.

Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine (DICOM):

DICOM-based system is based on Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine to deal with the high volume of medical images and diagnostic imaging procedure. Traditional healthcare information technology stores and manages image archives onsite using the internal hospital network. The network is protected by a firewall.

@Health Cloud:

It enables healthcare data storage, update and retrieval using Amazon Simple Storage Service. @HealthCloud includes a PHR application that acquires and displays patient records stored in the cloud and a medical imaging module to display medical images on the device. It also supports native multi-touch technology which allows better manipulation of medical images and increases the application’s usability.

 

ALGORITHM USED IN THE PROJECT:

The algorithm used in this project is Trust Rating Algorithm

It is based on a comparison of user’s activities with their peers who registered in the same period of time (i.e., cohort). The trust rating is related to user popularity, availability and user participation.

Each of the factors is given a weight based on a user’s selection. The trust score is the weighted sum of these factors. Therefore, a user-adaptive access control can be achieved. The score determines if a user can read another user’s blog. A user can view a blog only if the user’s trust score meets a certain threshold set by the blog owner.
