STUDY ON PREVENTING OVERRIDE TRIP SYSTEM UNDER COALMINE ELECTRIC NETWORK BASED ON CAN BUS

 

Abstract

 

                                                               When in the mine power distribution system ï¼power transmission line Protection Relay frequently uses without time limit instantaneous trip current protection over current protection zero sequence protection and other relay protection ways. The current setting of instantaneous trip current protection device should evade the most two short circuit current of this section of line terminal. But all levels of lines in power supply systems are quite short, when the terminal line breaks down, the difference of each section fault current value is small, and protection cannot protect the entire section line. When line terminal is short circuit, in the substation high voltage bus drops excessively lowly, it is influential to the other return route normal work.

 

                                                                  Industrial field bus-CAN bus effectively realizes the various protective devices to coordinate each other, meets all levels of the selectivity, quick break, and provides the possibility of preventing grade trip. In this system, all levels of protections constitute distributional structure through the CAN Bus, but if it realizes to make the control upper and lower layer protection coordinate mutually by the upper and lower layer correspondence, carrying on the selective movement, it must depend upon the CAN controller to proceed the data receiving and dispatching, therefore the rational design of CAN controller became key to ensure system smooth implementation.

 

                                                                 This paper introduces the regional selective interlock protection system based on CAN bus ,and elaborates the circuit design of micro-controller using enhanced  microcontroller as core CPU and CAN controller interface ,includes the hardware and the software design of CAN node. The microcontroller as slave computers connects in series to ripping signal return, follows the instructions from host computer to Start up and lock-up control Protection Equipment.
